About Chale-Go Bikes
Chale-Go is Ghana’s first large-scale bikeshare program that will launch in Q1 2022. Chale-Go will offer Accra’s residents and tourists over 200 bikes at over 35 conveniently located self-service stops throughout Legon, Airport Residential and Accra. We expect Chale-Go to bikeshare program to have over 2,000 bikes at 200 stations by 2025. Chale-Go, like other bike share systems around the world, will be a fleet of specially-designed, durable, safe and sturdy bikes that can be locked at any of our docking stations located across Accra. Our bikes can easily be unlocked using our mobile app from one station and returned to any station in our network. Our customers use bike share to commute to school, work or church, run errands, go to social engagements or freely explore Accra. Chale-Go benefits Accra’s residents and visitors by providing a low-cost, convenient, zero emissions transportation option that is healthy for users, our community and the environment. Our bikes will be available for use 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year and riders have access to all bikes and stations across the system.
Chale-Go is a subsidiary of Beaker Bicycle Ride Share International, which owns the bikes and stations.
